Itinerary:
Day one: Bountai – Huay Khong – jungle – Ban Chakhamsao
Meet your guide at Saenphaxay Guesthouse in Bountai, then we take our private car from Bountai to the point where our trek starts. Start hiking to Ban Huay Khong (Akha tribe). Explore this village, and then we trek uphill to higher mountains of Nam Lan area. Trek through deep forests and downhill to other Akha villages. Late evening we will arrive at Ban Chakhamsao, village of Akha Cherpia. Having dinner and staying overnight at this village.
Trekking: 5 hours. Trekking level: difficult.
Day two: Ban Chakhasao – jungle trek – Ban Akha Moutern
In the early morning we explore its people and attend their morning activities. Breakfast and then prepare our belongings for trekking. We hike downhill on the dirt road and reach Nam Lan protected area. Trekking start from Nam Lan, it will take us 5 – 6 hours trekking through very deep jungles of Nan Lan, experience amazing untouched jungle. Trek along the small river then we reach Ban Moutern, village of Akha Moutern, village is hidden in the deeper jungle. We will have dinner and overnight at this village.
Trekking: 5 – 6 hours.
Trekking level: very difficult.
Day three: Akha Moutern village – jungle trek – Ban Naten – Bountai.
After breakfast, we say goodbye to the host family and villagers. Today is still a challenging day. We trek through untouched forest, uphill to higher mountains. It is hard trekking indeed. We need sporty trekkers to do this trek. After we reach the top of mountain and then trek downhill along steep path. Finally, we will finish our trek, where we meet our driver.
We drive to Ban Naten and have lunch at this village. Then, drive to Bountai. We will arrive in Bountai late afternoon and finish our tour in Bountai.
Trekking: 6 – 6,5 hours, trekking level: very difficult.

- Trek ends: at 5:00 pm in Bountai.
