Itinerary.
Day 01 Bountai – Nam Li – Ban Mokoknoi (_/L/D).
The trekking tour can be started from Bountai District or Paknamnoi. A private car from Bountai or Paknamnoi will be arrived at Namly village in the afternoon, where the trekking point starts. Today we will hike along a dirt road to Mokkoknoi village, the village of Loma tribe. At this village you will have a good chance to observe their living style. Overnight with family at Akha Loma. Approximately: 3 – 3,5 hrs. trekking level: moderate
Day 02 Ban Mokoknoi – Mokkok Luang – Ban Chapiew-noi – Chapiewmai – Chapiewluang(B/L/D).
After breakfast, our trek will let you continue to Mokkokluang village (Akha Loma), today the trek is quite challenging for hiking. Lunch time will be served here at this village. Then, hiking on a small path through mountainou areas. Finalliy, you will arrive at Chapiewnoi, Chapiewluang and Chapiewmai villages (Akha Erpa), these villages are remote areas and have authentic life. Here we will stay overnight at Chapiewluang village.
Approximately: 4 – 4,5 hours.
Trekking level: difficult.
Day 03 Visit Chapiewluang – Mouchee villages (B/L/_).
After breakfast, the tour guide will bring the group to start trekking early. Today the trek is more challenging than two days before. The trek lets you walk on the path through mountains up and down steep. And then, the trek will finish at Moucheekang village (Akha Mouchee). Then we take a private car heading to Bountai or Phongsaly. On the way we have good opportunity to visit villages of Akha Cherpia, Akha Poulee. When arriving in Bountai, the trip is ended.
Approximately: 4 – 5 hrs.
Trekking level: difficult.
- Trek starts: at 8:00 am from Saenphaxay Guesthouse in Bountai.
- Trek ends: at 5:00 pm in Bountai.
